As we conclude our first year here in Cypress and Northwest Houston, we reflect on the beautiful community that we are a part of and are growing together. From our Rosh Hashana dinner to the public menorah lighting in Jersey Village, from weekly Torah classes to women’s circle and youth events, we have seen tremendous involvement and growth. Chabad of Cypress is more than just a Synagogue; it is a family, a community of friends; where people support one another and grow together to enjoy life and Judaism simultaneously. We encourage you to be a part of this thriving community and try one of our programs, classes or events.
Running an operation like Chabad of Cypress requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While the Rabbi and Rebbetzin work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating a Chabad center can be daunting. Rather than charging membership fees or exorbitant event prices, which tend to exclude some people; we rely on the generosity and partnership of the community that we serve. We do not receive any outside funding from Chabad headquarters or the like.
We are now turning to you to partner with us on our first anniversary to help us raise $40,000 in 40 hours which will provide almost half of our budget for the upcoming year. You can be a partner in everything we do to benefit the residents of Cypress and Northwest Houston by contributing to our campaign. Take part in our Giving Challenge by making a generous donation today!!
With sincere gratitude and appreciation,
Rabbi Levi & Devorah Marinovsky
