Phase 2 of the Center For Jewish life Building Campaign
Dear Friend,
Four years ago when Devorah and I moved to Cypress we only knew a few people and weren’t sure what to expect. We definitely didn’t know how committed you would be to growing our very own Jewish community.
Four years ago, our dream to build a thriving Jewish Community Center was just that, a dream.
Then the opportunity arose to purchase a permanent home for Judaism in our town. We weren’t sure if it would be possible.
So we asked you.
And the response was overwhelming.
Our young – but growing – community rose to answer the call of the future!
Just one year ago, on August 21st, that dream became reality. Having successfully raised $175,000.00 we secured financing and purchased the Jewish Community Center of Cypress!
In order to obtain proper permits and make the center the comfortable welcoming place our community deserves, we need to do some necessary renovations and remodeling.
We will be launching an online crowdfunding campaign on Sunday, September 18 until Tuesday evening September 20, to bridge the gap and complete the construction as soon as possible.
This is a center for the community by the community.
Our ultimate goal is to have 100% community participation at all levels of giving.
Any amount you can contribute will get us one step closer to our goal of having a place to call home for all Jews in Cypress and Northwest Houston.
We understand some have a willingness to participate generously but may be difficult at the present moment, that’s why we encourage larger pledges that can be paid over time. Feel free to reach out and set up a plan that works for you.
